Today Dr. Mina Chirico spoke Battle the farm, situated in the locality inhabited by the Lama and his owners.
Originally the term meant a non-farm population structure but an extension of cultivated land. Originally the entire area where the farm is located is called The Battle of San Vito Pizzo and was divided into two parts: one called

Nel 1640 poi acquistò altri piccoli appezzamenti la cui destinazione erano oliveti, seminativi e vigneti. Nel 1740 Giovan Leonardo Marziotta decise e la costruzione di un casino di campagna così come andavano facendo le altre famiglie, segno dell'importanza raggiunta da questi signori nella seconda metà del Settecento.
