In mid-September was held in Rimini on the 14th International Biotechnology Symposium (see http://www.ibs2010.org/ ), an important occasion in which the operators of the biotechnology industry (the world of research and companies) have met to see the opportunities and needs of our time offers and demands.
I was very impressed with the reports of Directors of major research centers (above all, Prof. Holst for Germany and Prof. another for China), aimed at producing biofuels.
Warning: this is not only to research but systematic measures (ie, inclusive of the various actors operating in a complementary way in the areas of research is also planned and efficient partnership with production companies that try and bring the best ideas in motion, up to the actual production) that move resources and interests and which are designed and operated to produce wealth for the benefit both of stakeholders (property and workers) and indirectly of their country.
The discovery and basic consideration is that over the border, but in general beyond the borders of the EU, were initiated by time of effective partnership actions that produce value and that we Italians can only listen and ponder. Almost always.
But we have to recover quickly, all work and invest much more and much better: Politicians, Heads of Research Centres, employers and workers.
