Environment and Participation: the new EMAS regulation

About the new EMAS Regulation in Francesco Baldoni wrote in his post , and no claim of completeness, I propose some reflections participatory appearance of this tool looks very often, and wrong, is not sufficiently appreciated.

EMAS, as an important instrument of the action plan and Production and Sustainable Consumption and Sustainable Industrial Policy "is designed to promote continuous improvement in environmental performance of organizations through the establishment and implementation of EMS , the systematic, objective and periodic evaluation of performance of such systems, providing information on environmental performance , an open dialogue with the public and other interested parties and with the active involvement and adequate training of staff by the organizations concerned. Dialogo aperto con il pubblico: Organisations must be able to demonstrate an open dialogue with the public and other stakeholders, including local communities and customers about the environmental impact of their activities and their products and services to identify issues of concern to the public and other interested parties. Openness, transparency and regular reporting of environmental information are key factors in order to differentiate from the EMAS other schemes. These factors are also important for the organization in building a relationship of trust with stakeholders.

oil 1 egg (2 if you use a large pot of yogurt!)

a pinch of salt 1 tablespoon baking powder vanillic

PROCEDURE
Combine liquids: yogurt + egg + oil, stir and add sugar.
Mix the flour baking powder, and stir everything.
Grease a baking tray and bake for 40 minutes at 180 degrees, is the toothpick test.

CHANGES
The seven jars is a good base for everything. We can add them to taste fresh or dried fruit, without too much trouble!
I now I've done 2: an apple, with large pieces that cooks are nicely softened, and a coconut and chocolate ... goodness it's a bomb! damn, you should try it! With a scoop of ice cream must be a wonder (hint of roommate,-P)!
The only hitch: the chocolate drops gradually during cooking, and I trained as a fund chocolate .. good, of course, but you know why, and how to avoid this? Uff ...

idle chat generic in every way! I said that I tested the fish, and so it was! I had the salmon, and I decided to do it steamed with curry sauce, couscous and carrots. An experiment well able to tell the truth, MOOLTO satisfied with me :-) also because usually I do not like cooked carrots, and instead ... It 'pretty fast and complete, and gustosissimooo mhmmmm!

INGREDIENTS 2 slices of salmon
2 cups of coffee grain couscous
carrots 4 medium / small

1 onion 1 / 2 jar of cream

butter 1 ½ teaspoon of curry spices


Serves 2 - Preparation Total 30/40 min

Take a pot and boil the water with a few grains of pepper, salt, cloves and other spices to taste (I also used the cumin and a mixture herbs). Cut the onions and cook them in a shallow saucepan with oil, slice the carrots into strips, and add them to the onion when it is golden. Let go over a low heat, stirring occasionally; correct with salt and pepper if necessary.
Place gently in the water for cooking the fish, take about 20 minutes, depending on the size of the piece.
Place the cooked carrots aside, stssa pot and add a bit of butter with the cream and curry powder and heat. Transfer the fish and let it go on low heat in sauce.
In a bowl, pour the 2 cups of cous cous and pour the same amount of water used to cook the fish. Let stand 3 minute or two, then shell with a fork, if necessary adding a little 'oil.
Serve all, and if necessary go in the pot to warm the carrots.

I must say it was a revelation, but it is an opinion-P yanked persunnale!

E 'where the new EMAS! Former Querciolaia

Buon anno a tutti e già che ci siamo, tanti auguri per l’applicazione del nuovo Regolamento EMAS. Infatti dal 12/01/2010 il “vecchio” Reg.761/01 va in pensione e viene sostituito dal Reg.1221/09 (pubblicato in GUCE il 22/12/09).

Effettivamente i tempi di adeguamento sono praticamente inesistenti e questo fatto può cogliere in contropiede chiunque.

I might point out that the major news is contained in Annex IV, covering the Environmental Statement (which must be in electronic or paper ) which must include the key indicators (included mandatory) as well as other relevant indicators environmental performance more specific to individual sectors.

The key indicators are:

• energy efficiency, defined as "total direct energy" expressed in MWh or GJ;

• material efficiency, defined as' stream of annual mass of different materials used (except for energy carriers and water), expressed in tonnes;

• water, defined as "the total annual water consumption" in m3;

• waste, both as "total annual waste" divided type, expressed in tonnes both as "total annual production of hazardous waste", in kilograms or in tonnes;

• biodiversity, defined as "land use" expressed in m2 of built-up area;

• emissions, both as "total annual emissions of greenhouse gases," including at least emissions of CO2, CH4, N2O, HFCs, SF6 PFCe, expressed in tonnes of CO2 equivalent is as total annual air emissions, "including at least emissions of SO2, NOx and PM, in kilograms or tonnes.
